50 days ago I started a 100 day challenge, and this morning I decided I was ready to add another one into the mix!
Will you join me?
The purpose of this challenge is to create a new habit, or to stop an unwanted bad habit. Consistently repeating an action daily is what’s required to transform a conscious action into a subconscious patten. The number of days depends on many elements, but 100 days will give you a strong foundation.
What would you like to achieve?
If you don’t have anything in mind you might like to consider doing 10 minutes of physical movement to stretch and energise your body. Surya namaskar (sun salutations) is a sequence of yoga asanas that does exactly that.
Or if that sounds too energetic, you could just lay down and do absolutely NOTHING for 10 minutes! In yoga that’s known as Savasna, and it is a REAL yoga pose. (In case you didn’t believe me, here I am in Savasana pose.)
Have you heard about the benefits of meditation, but don’t know how to meditate? Try a guided meditation to begin with as it will help to keep your mind from wandering away from the act of meditating. This one is only 2 minutes long, so it’s an easy challenge to get you started.
If you’d like to easily keep track and give yourself a daily pat on the back for your achievement, you can download an app to your phone or contact me so I can email you a simple tracker form. Stick it to your fridge or your mirror and colour in each day of success!
Remember that if you miss a day you’ll have to start back at zero…
