Did you know that standing like Wonder Woman can boost your confidence and your willpower?

You don’t need the costume in order to do The Wonder Woman pose! Simply stand with your legs shoulder-width apart, chest out, with your arms placed on your waist for 2 minutes at a time.

This Power Pose changes hormone levels in the body by increasing testosterone (connected with dominance) and decreasing cortisol (connected with stress).

It will give you a feeling of being in control, and it might just help you to resist that glass of wine or piece of cake too!

And if you’d like to feel like a winner, and generate the same hormone changes, do what athletes automatically do when they cross the finish line: Arms wide or up high, with chin tilted slightly upwards.
