Rehydrate, stay alert and detox!

If you find the taste of filtered tap water too dull, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice, a sprig of mint and a couple of slices of cucumber to sparkling or soda water. Adding slices of fresh ginger will help to put some zing into your day!

  • Lemon: Lemon water is a powerful detoxifying drink as it helps to cleanse and alkalise the body. Add slices, or squeeze fresh lemon juice into your glass. Lemon is good for digestion and boosts your immune system.
  • Mint: Mint adds a touch of sweetness without the sugar, and it also helps settle your stomach and aids in digestion.
  • Cucumber: Adding a few slices of cucumber to your water makes for excellent rehydration, and cucumber contains anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Ginger: Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite and motion sickness. Ginger has also been used in traditional medicine for reducing inflammation.
